Overview
If you are a Zimbabwean living in the diaspora the CBZ foreign denominated loan allows you to invest in property back home through the following;
- Purchase of property, building and renovations
- Home improvements – solar installations, security systems, borehole drilling, gate motors, internet connectivity infrastructure
- Any other legal non speculative purposes against the security of immovable property.
Features
- Interest rates of between 8-10% depending on client risk profiling
- Tenure of up to 5 years
- 3% establishment fees once off
- 1% valuation fees where applicable
What you need to apply
- Letter from employer confirming employment
- 3 months pay slips
- Or any other traceable regular income source e.g rental
- Work permit or residence permit
- Power of attorney
- 6 months bank statements showing income
- Opening of a CBZ Nostro account if not account holder
- A fully completed mortgage application form
- Copy of ID
- A negotiable deposit on the purchase price – in the case of property purchase
- Non-refundable Application fees of US$100.00
- Copy of Agreement of Sale – property purchase
- Copy of title deeds
- A bill of quantities and quotations – for building finance and home improvements
- A copy of approved plan
