If you are a Zimbabwean living in the diaspora the CBZ foreign denominated loan allows you to invest in property back home through the following;

  • Purchase of property, building and renovations
  • Home improvements – solar installations, security systems, borehole drilling, gate motors, internet connectivity infrastructure
  • Any other legal non speculative purposes against the security of immovable property.

Features

  • Interest rates of between 8-10% depending on client risk profiling
  • Tenure of up to 5 years
  • 3% establishment fees once off
  • 1% valuation fees where applicable

What you need to apply

  • Letter from employer confirming employment
  • 3 months pay slips
  • Or any other traceable regular income source e.g rental
  • Work permit or residence permit
  • Power of attorney
  • 6 months bank statements showing income
  • Opening of a CBZ Nostro account if not account holder
  • A fully completed mortgage application form
  • Copy of ID
  • A negotiable deposit on the purchase price – in the case of property purchase
  • Non-refundable Application fees of US$100.00
  • Copy of Agreement of Sale – property purchase
  • Copy of title deeds
  • A bill of quantities and quotations – for building finance and home improvements
  • A copy of approved plan
